Birds of a Feather is located 15 minutes from downtown Victoria, on the shores of a protected ocean lagoon. Our unique west coast location offers the best of both city and nature, with Victoria’s best attractions just minutes away and a seemingly endless network of hiking trails and beachcombing on our doorstep. There are miles of rugged west coast beaches to explore and we’re right next door to 3 national historic sites: Hatley Castle Park, Ford Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse.

We provide all of our bed and breakfast guests with courtesy canoes, kayaks and bicycles, and we are happy to book you on all sorts of local adventures—horseback riding, sightseeing, ziplining, fishing, golfing and much more, including our own personal marine ecotours. Birds of a Feather Marine Ecotours operates a fully-equipped Zodiac exclusively for private whale watching trips, island hopping and custom charters.

All of the suites at Birds of a Feather are completely private and separate from the owner’s living quarters. Each suite features a fully-equipped kitchenette and luxury touches such as wide-screen TVs, oversized soaker tubs, rain showers, gas fireplaces and radiant tile flooring. Our Honeymoon and Family Suites each have their own private balcony overlooking the ocean, and all suites have access to the huge rooftop terrace with terrific views of the ocean, Victoria, the Olympic Mountains and beyond.

A delicious home-cooked breakfast is prepared each morning for our B&B guests in our professional west coast kitchen. Breakfast is served in our oceanfront dining room, or, weather permitting, on our waterfront deck.
