Victoria Whisky Festival
The 4th Annual Victoria Whisky Festival will be held on Friday the 23rd, Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of January 2009 at the 5 star Hotel Grand Pacific (Named the #1 Hotel in Canada by Conde' Nast Magazine) located on Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbour.
Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival
Celtic and Scottish entertainment will be held in the large circus tent including: the "Address to the Haggis" twice a day; Cape Breton, Irish, and Scottish country dancing; choirs; and fiddling. Historical displays and demonstrations, Clan tents, Scottish and Celtic vendors and concessions, beer garden, and single malt whisky school and Lions Pancake Breakfast round out the two-day event on both days. On both days, there will be a free kids entertainment area (including kilted 100-yard dashes, mini-heavy events and bouncy castles).
