The Butchart Gardens are located in Brentwood Bay, 21 km north of the capital city of Victoria and 20 km south of the Vancouver - Victoria ferry terminal at Swartz Bay.
Butterfly Gardens
Stroll amid hundreds of free flying butterflies and visit with the friendliest birds anywhere, all in an enchanting tropical garden. See over 30 species of exotic butterflies including the brilliant Blue Morpho and the delicately patterned Giant Owl. Truly a photographer's paradise and a wonderful place to learn.

Finnerty Gardens
The garden contains more than 500 different rhododendron species and hybrids, 1,600 trees and shrubs and a spectacular range of companion plants – including ferns, vines, bulbs, groundcovers, water plants and ornamentals – artistically displayed on a 2.6 hectare (6.5 acre) site at the southwest corner of UVic’s campus.
The entrance to the gardens is near the University Chapel, on the south-west edge of the campus. The gardens encompass an area north of Cedar Hill Cross Road and west of Henderson Road. Proceed around the Ring Road to parking lot 6.
Glendale Gardens and Woodlands
The Ottawa Citizen awarded Glendale Gardens one of Canada's top 10 gardens for good reason; this 43 hectare boasts magnificent rhododendrons, a beautiful winter garden and an extraordinary Takata Japanese garden.
Open daily year round, come and enjoy the nature conservency and demonstration gardens located within Glendale Gardens and Woodlands.
