Sourdough Banana Nut Bread

1/3 cup Crisco oil
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sourdough batter
2 cups flour, all-purpose, unsifted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 ripe bananas, crushed
3/4 cup chopped nuts (home-grown walnuts taste best)
1 tsp. vanilla
Lemon Yogurt Bread

1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1½ cups sugar
2 cups lemon yogurt
2 tbsp. lemon juice (real juice)
Sift the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Lightly beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add oil and sugar; mix well. Add yogurt and lemon juice and add dry ingredients - mix well. Pour into two well-greased loaf pans. Bake at 325°F for one hour.
