Canadian Pacific Ballet

Canadian Pacific Ballet Victoria BCCanadian Pacific Ballet was registered as a non-profit organization in October, 2006, and received its charitable status in March, 2007. In November of 2006, the Society signed a lease with Anthem Properties and Market Square on its 3200 square foot home in Victoria’s historic Market Square. Renovations to the space were completed in early January of 2007, providing the society two 1000 square foot studio spaces, an executive suite, and wardrobe construction and maintenance shop. In the Spring of 2007, the company made its debut on an eight city regional tour of Romantic and Classical ballet mixed repertoire, and its first full length at home in Victoria’s McPherson Playhouse in May of that same year.

The society is passionately committed to the fulfillment of its mandate and mission, and has assembled a strong and unique team able to reach those goals.

Ballet costume design and construction Victoria BCCustom Costume Design and Construction

Canadian Pacific Ballet’s wardrobe shop is able to complete wardrobe commissions, from a single tutu, a "guesting set" (ie. Tutu and man’s jacket), to full sets of costumes for a production. Made with the time-honoured methods of classical costume construction, these are truly professional performance garments. Each garment may be designed and fit to specific dancers, or general sizings may be requested (this can be particularly useful for larger sets of wardrobe in repertoire). All garments include care instructions, major repairs or alterations can be requested of Canadian Pacific Ballet’s Shop.
