What to wear

We supply full length anti-exposure suits which for the most part will keep you warm and double up as a flotation suit. Wearing these suits is optional as regular life jackets are also supplied.

Pack for ALL types of weather.

We travel across friendly waters, but the weather conditions are variable, so we strongly suggest to bring layered clothing - fleece is most comfortable under the anti-exposure suits and flat soled shoes; ideally running shoes which will also not scuff the boat.

When we are stationary it can get quite warm in the open sun, however, when we are moving the coldness coming off the water can really get in to a person quickly.

Other things to bring for a smooth day at sea:

  • sunscreen
  • sunglasses
  • camera with spare batteries
  • a light snack or lunch - we always have bottled water on board
  • gloves and head cover on colder days
  • where practical bring an extra set of dry clothes just in case you get wet from the ocean spray

We also supply motion sickness relief wristbands for those who tend to experience sea-sickness
