A links-style front nine coupled with a parkland-setting back nine makes for a great day of golf. Large undulating greens could leave you scratching you head if you’re not careful. And there’s water. Well placed off the tee, cutting across a fairway in a strategic spot, or nestled up against the side of a green: you will have to carve your shot to avoid reaching for you ball retriever in one of the 16 small lakes on the course. Set in rolling hills, the course has the ever-present Mount Prevost hovering over the scene like a large quiet Buddha.
A large full-length practice facility will allow you to sharpen that game. Two feature events to watch for are the Duncan Meadows Coors Light Spring Amateur Tournament in early May and the Frank Hui Pro-Am in the end week of July.
The large log-built clubhouse is well placed overlooking the course for some 19th hole analysis. Banquet and conference facilities are available for 150 people.
