Carved from the Highland wilderness in Victoria, Highland Pacific’s lush bent grass fairways thread through a majestic landscape of westcoast forest, rock, fescue and natural water features, boasting panoramic views of the city of Victoria, Olympic Mountains, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Bear Mountain and Thetis Lake Park.
The Pacific Nine opened in October of 2008 and has quickly become one of the jewels of the Vancouver Island Golf Trail, with wide, sweeping fairways, dramatic elevation changes and challenging greens. The Highland Nine, opened in the spring of 2010 and boasts a similar test of golf with a wider viewscape of the city of Victoria. Highland Pacific is a definite “must play” addition for both locals and destination golfers!
A round at Highland Pacific Golf is best prepared for on their award-winning practice facility and Learning Academy, featuring a two-tiered tee line of 44 covered and heated stalls, CPGA golf instruction, long and short game natural turf practice areas, lights for evening practice, and real terrain targets, including a water hazard to avoid or… aim for - whatever your preference! After opening in 2007, the practice range at Highland Pacific Golf was very quickly designated into the Top 100 Ranges in North America in 2008 and again in 2009 by Golf Range Magazine – only one of two in British Columbia.
Highland Pacific’s clubhouse will beckon after your round or practice session, offering a casual atmosphere and superb patio, perfect for the enjoyment of the Chef’s daily specials, complemented with a Vancouver Island microbrew or Starbuck latte made especially for you.
