Offering forest trails, wildlife, a vast expanse of sandy beach at low tide and terrific scenery. Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park in Metchosin is a must for anyone wanting to explore tidal pools, build sand castles, skim board or play around in the water this summer. Several picnic areas and toilets are available.

Directions:
Main Entrance and Nature Centre: Follow the Trans-Canada Highway from VictoSitting Lady Falls at Witty's Lagoonria, and take the Colwood exit. Follow the Old Island Highway, which turns into Sooke Road. From Sooke Road, turn left on Metchosin Road, which leads to the park entrance on the left.
Tower Point Entrance: Follow the directions above to Metchosin Road. From Metchosin Road, turn left on Duke Road, then right on Olympic View Drive, which leads to the park entrance on the left.
Public Transit:
Take BC Transit bus #50 from Victoria; transfer to #54 or #55 to the main park entrance.
