Boundless views of wildlife forest and the sea and lagoon
Splendid room with boundless views of wildlife, forest and the sea & lagoon. Wonderful starting point to breathtaking vistas like cycling through the forest, university, castle, fort and the lighthouse and to the west to Sooke on the Galloping Goose Trail. We had a full day to salt Spring Island exploring and enjoying every moment of beauty. The high point of the day was a superb dinner at the House of Piccolo. In the west we found the walks byond Renfrew wonderfully invigorating with ocean and forest trails. Lunch at the Hotel Renfrew was lovely in a delightful setting overlooking a cove. Dinner at the Fuse in Sooke was a wonderful taste of Canada's best. Extreme birding at its best. Endless kodak moments. Birds of a Feather captures the best of Vancouver Island. It's a gem and room #1 a 5 star.
