Wine tour was a fabulous adventure
Absolutely wonderful place to spend our honeymoon! Great location, great view, great hosts. The day-long wine tour was a fabulous adventure and we have the photos and bottles of wine to prove it. Definitely the best way to see the island.
We can't wait to come back for anniversaries in the future. Maybe one day we can retire up here (let me work on my husband a bit for that one)
Thank you for a fabulous honeymoon that we will never forget.
Kayaked to Victoria ... seals and otters along the way
We kayaked to Victoria one day, stopping at the lighthouse on the way. Seals and otters were playing in the water - lots of fun. Thanks for use of the kayaks. We had a lovely, adventurous, and restful honeymoon. And we're off to the San Juans! (delicious breakfasts, beautiful weather)
We got married on the dock
This memorable place will be in our hearts forever. On the 2nd day of our stay we got married on the dock. Without a doubt, we will be back to celebrate our anniversaries. Thank you for everything as you have touched our hearts forever.
Abundant wildlife on the shores & water
We will always remember our lovely visit here at Birds of a Feather. The hosts Dieter and Ashley were wonderful - just the right balance of helpful & gracious as hosts. Our twilight canoe trip was delightful - serene and peaceful as we glided along with the abundant wildlife on the shores & water.
Witnessing the wedding of Kenny & Marta was an unexpected and delightful event and we so much enjoyed being a part of this lovely couples' wedding ceremony. We hope to one day return.
PS. The breakfasts were delicious and we especially loved little Taco!!

We loved our stay at your B&B. Your place is perfect & lovely, food excellent! Everything you suggested fit us perfect from things to do to restaurants - the Keg Steakhouse was awesome! We are already planning what to do on our next time here & think our kids would like it too. We will be back!
Lovely home, fantastic location & friendly hosts
Lovely home, fantastic location & friendly hosts. We have had a relaxing few days and seen some fantastic things. This ends our time on Vancouver Island and we have loved the place. Off now to Hawaii before home to England. Amy loved playing with the dogs - especially pint-sized Taco!
First trip to Canada a memorable experience
Thanks for making our first trip to Canada a memorable experience. Driving up north to Cherry Point winery was gorgeous, playing on the tree course was a blast, and canoeing the lagoon was relaxing. The furballs made it feel like home and helped me keep my mind off of missing my pets. Alice and Taco are wonderful dogs; however, Mac the cat especially touched my heart. How can I ever forget my early morning wake up call when she snuck up on the balcony for the first time? Thanks again!
Wish we could have stayed longer
Even though we only stayed one night, it was absolutely lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your hospitality, It was the first time we've stayed at a B&B and the experience is truly a memorable one.

What a great stay!
What a great stay! Ducks and Swans in the water. Deer jumping over the fence and on the roads. Dogs and cat in the yard. Flowers everywhere especially Butchart Gardens. You can rest, or see so many things then come back to the B&B and enjoy all the great things at your fingertips. Great place!
Loved being so close to the water
Had a great time with our 4 kids who loved being so close to the water. What a beautiful home and great breakfasts! We'll remember this place fondly when we are back in the heat of Saudi Arabia

I'm so glad we bumped into you on the internet! My feet ache from all the walks in your beautiful country! What a lovely place to settle into for a few days to recouperate. Love the shower and the quiet solitude in a haven away from the big cities and freeways! Next time I come here I intend to stay longer and make this the home base. Loved the peir and swans in beautiful weather and calm breezes.
Loved waking every morning to the wonderful view
First B&B we have ever stayed in (will never forget the 1st) and was so impressed by the kayaking … Saw mountains on the kayak and it was so peaceful. Great view. Great food. Great breakfast conversations. I have never kayaked before and am now hooked. Saw Mt. Baker on the first day. The warm sun is also never to be forgotten. Good laughts with Dieter and Ashley, Mac, Taco and Alice. We are from Seattle so will be back often. Victoria is such a wonderful place- we like its history and charm. We like it even more than Vancouver BC. Caught a couple of baseball games - Victoria Seals on Canada Day. Butchart Gardens fireworks were better than Canada Day at the Inner Harbour. Thank you for having a place for visitors to Victoria. I loved waking every morning to the wonderful view - the swans, herons, mallards, geese, even a cruise ship passing through the straights. I had an amazing and unforgettable experience. We will be back. Oh, I simply loved the kayaking and somewhat interacting with the different birds. Taco, Mac and Alice are adorable. Thanks Dieter and Ashley for being wonderful hosts. You’re the best. I loved the casserole! We will be back soon!
