Absolutely Perfect!
Such a gorgeous place! This is destination #2 of our whirlwind honeymoon tour of British Columbia, and it's been so much more that we could ever have asked for! It's been wonderful to just sit on the balcony, watch the geese and the water and relax. This has been a much-needed break from life, and will definitely be returning in the future! - Absolutely perfect! This is a very special place you have here, and we are looking forward to returning!
A Wonderfully Relaxing Place
Beautiful ... Absolutely beautiful!!! My husband and I hadn't taken a honeymoon, so at our 1 year anniversary we thought it high time to take some time to enjoy ourselves and we picked a great place to do it!!! Birds of a Feather is a wonderfully relaxing place. Our activities were amazing! Wildplay Aerial Tree Course and Adrenaline Ziplines- We had so much fun! Thank you for the really great homebase. Thank you.

You are a delightful couple and we enjoyed your company very much. We loved Mac & Taco and they also made us feel welcome. Our honeymoon was fabulous in your comfortable room. We enjoyed the view, birds, location, bed, tub & the hospitality. This is a wonderful place and we wil probably be back next July.1st barring a financial disaster, so keep our room open! Just kidding - We will call and give you our deposit when we get closer to next July. Again, thank you for everything and enoy all the travelers you meet and the next time we come you can tell us your adventures!
The Adventures of Guy & Victoria Kenison Continue!
The adventures of Guy & Victoria Kenison continue. After being out of the room for less than 20 minutes we decided to go canoeing on the lagoon. We got the boat in the water and ourselves in the boat, though a bit unsteadily. I was just remarking, after paddling away from the dock, that we should go get some life jackets, when Victoria paddled on the same side I wa son and we started to tip. I said, "Of no, don't do that" and attempted to counter- balance to no avail. We were in the water with a tipped canoe, her nail broken, andmy sunglasses sinking to the bottom. Two of the girls (other guests) started in kayaksfrom the shore to rescue us and Victoria and I were hanging onto the floating, upside down boat laughing till they reached us. We flipped the canoe with their help and towed/swan into shore. Of course, Dieter was so kindly taking photos of our bungling moment. Thanks for the adventure!
The other thing that started our day off the right way - Breakfast!!!!!
We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The room was amazing! We enjoyed watching the Canucks play at the Cross Roads - very good recommendation.
We loved Taco and Mac. If we could we would take them home. They always started our day off the right way. The other thing that started our day off the right way - breakfast! Breakfast was wonderful!! Ashley and Dieter sure know how to Cook!! We had wonderful conversation with Ashley after breakfast - we will truly miss those. Hopefully we will be back soon to continue them!
We love Esquimalt Lagoon and we will miss the birds and the view. We will come back!

This has been a wonderful place to celebrate our honeymoon! We could not have imagined anything more perfect. Many thanks for your hospitality and smiling faces. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations over breakfast and the food was incredible! I also enjoyed canoing for the first time. Your place is beautiful and we will certainly be back!
Wine tour was a fabulous adventure
Absolutely wonderful place to spend our honeymoon! Great location, great view, great hosts. The day-long wine tour was a fabulous adventure and we have the photos and bottles of wine to prove it. Definitely the best way to see the island.
We can't wait to come back for anniversaries in the future. Maybe one day we can retire up here (let me work on my husband a bit for that one)

Kayaked to Victoria ... seals and otters along the way
We kayaked to Victoria one day, stopping at the lighthouse on the way. Seals and otters were playing in the water - lots of fun. Thanks for use of the kayaks. We had a lovely, adventurous, and restful honeymoon. And we're off to the San Juans! (delicious breakfasts, beautiful weather)
We got married on the dock
This memorable place will be in our hearts forever. On the 2nd day of our stay we got married on the dock. Without a doubt, we will be back to celebrate our anniversaries. Thank you for everything as you have touched our hearts forever.

We had an amazing time here on the island for our honeymoon! This room was perfect! It was our first experience at a B&B, and sure to not be the last. Thank you for such an amazing place. Perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon
Wonderful! Thank you so very much for having us! Birds of a Feather was the PERFECT place for us to spend our honeymoon! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are sad to leave the island. Delicious breakfasts with nice personal touches. Very thoughtful. We plan to visit again! (Dieter is the best tour guide!)

The place is lovely! We spent our honeymoon here. The only disappointment - would have liked just one more night- too short! Beautiful view! Great suite ... Canoeing was NICE!! We would recommend this place and even return if we had a chance! :)

We enjoyed our canoe ride across the lagoon to the castle / RRU and loved everything about the B&B facilities and where it’s located. Thank you, Dieter! We would definitely love to visit again!

Three days was not enough
Honeymooners! Three days was not enough! Thank you, Dieter, for the itinerary suggestions. We had some lovely adventures at Port Renfrew. Your place is beautiful. We envy your set-up here and we can tell that you enjoy what you do. We hope to be back for our one year anniversary. Thank-you again!

A great way to spend our first night as a married couple. We stumbled upon you by accident, and are very happy it worked out the way it did. You were very accommodating & flexible - especially as we arrived at 1:50 am.
Tub was superb, my first time on a canoe was fun, bed was perfect. We are locals, and would recommend you for sure! See you on our 25th Anniversary.
