The garden contains more than 500 different rhododendron species and hybrids, 1,600 trees and shrubs and a spectacular range of companion plants – including ferns, vines, bulbs, groundcovers, water plants and ornamentals – artistically displayed on a 2.6 hectare (6.5 acre) site at the southwest corner of UVic’s campus.

The entrance to the gardens is near the University Chapel, on the south-west edge of the campus. The gardens encompass an area north of Cedar Hill Cross Road and west of Henderson Road. Proceed around the Ring Road to parking lot 6.

Dedicated to education and organic gardening, be sure to drop by and visit the demonstration beds, attend a class, or view the items for sale.

24 Acres of developed history! Visit the woodland gardens. Open all year.

A gardener’s paradise. Woodland gardens, gift shop and refreshments, all in a creative and unique four acre setting. Available for purchase are rare trees, shrubs and perennials.

This garden includes three and one half acres of perennials, animals, shrubs, trees, and a food garden. It is filled with wonderful plants. Enjoy a relaxing walk-thru. We are open daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

In addition to the garden there is a unique forest trail taking you to the Nimpkish River.

Ten developed acres overlooking a fabulous waterfront view. Come and view the mature trees and the large collection of Rhododendrons! Refreshment and gift shop on site.
